Lynne Stainthorpe is the driving force behind Big Idea Brand Marketing and learned the secrets of building powerful brands working for Unilever, Beecham and Dulux. She’s worked in brand marketing for over 20 years with clients such as Benetton, B&Q, The Royal Parks and Tate.

Since marketing paint colours for Dulux, B&Q and Benetton, Lynne has deepened and developed her talent for using colour in branding. When recommending brand colours, she considers factors such as market sector usage, colour symbolism, psychology and association as well as brand personality.

Lynne loves bringing the magic of branding to a wide range of small businesses, from coaches and consultants to makers of food and beauty products.

Outside the office:

Lynne is a volunteer Business Adviser for the Young Enterprise Company Programme, which gives Year 12 students the opportunity to run their own business for a year. She is also Secretary of the Chiltern Area Young Enterprise Local Volunteer Board.

Away from the office you’ll find Lynne playing netball, going to the cinema, listening to Radio 4, practising yoga and mindfulness.
